Forgive my stupidity, we are new to this. I was just wondering how often you can use fastpass. Is it once every hour or 2?????
Also how many times a day do you normally get to use it?
We are going the last week of June if that makes a difference. Thanks

Here's how it works:
You go to the attraction and it has a long line. Go to the fast pass machine. You will insert your ticket/card and it will spit out a fast pass. Each person must do this because you only get one per person/ticket. The Fast pass will have the time that you got your fast pass and then a time frame to come back to ride. So lets say you get a Fast Pass at 12pm the ticket may say come back to ride between 1:15-2:15pm. Once that 1:15 mark hits you can then get another Fast pass for another attraction, but not before that time. When you go back to ride, they have a designated line for fast pass users. Hope this helps.

That is how it works:woohoo:
THe only thing I would add is this: If it is a very popular ride ( EE, SM or Soarin' just to name a few) go early and get the FP, they do sometimes run out during very busy times, or have a late return. When we went last July we used FP like crazy and rode everything we wanted too, several times!!

If the time to come back and ride is not too far off, you may get another fastpass at about that time.

If the time to come back is more than two hours away, you may get another fastpass about two hours* after you got this fastpass.

*This worst case delay may be less on less busy days.

There will be fine print (not too fine) at the bottom that says when you can get another fast pass. One evening we had 3 in hand.

Just to clarify, "each person" doesn't need to go to the FastPass machine. One person can take everyone's ticket and do it that way (come to think of it, we ALWAYS do it that way).

Each person MUST be in the park, however, or at least must have entered the park. Let's say there are 4 in your party, 2 want to hang at the room a while, 2 go to a park and want to get FPs on the way out for later. Even if they have the 2 sleepyheads' tickets with them, the FP machines won't print out FPs for those 2 tickets. It'll spit out a blank FP paper that says something like "not a valid FastPass." The Almighty Disney Computer knows all.

thanx for shedding some light on this stuff. a lot has changed in 10 years!!
