here's a thought......what if we set a time after school one day so all our kids in that age group could "meet"? MY daughter would love to have some friends other then just mom.......she's only 7 and doesn't type really well, but loves to talk! (no idea where she got that! hee!) She has the same problems...goes to her room and redecorates, and wonders why she has no visitors........any suggestions anyone????

Y'all just about brought tears to my eyes when I checked this this morning!

This is really great! She will love this and love meeting some of the dis kids too!! Silly me, I forgot to say her sn is kittendance. Her cafe name (last I knew) was Pizza Planet. She does tend to change it from time to time, lol. She also doesn't type really fast but yes, loves to chat! I'm pretty bewildered by that also as I'm such a quiet thing..

Thanks so much. She can usually get on after school because she either has very little or no homework, or does it on the bus. She also sometimes gets on in the evening. She has to share a computer with big brother who is 12 (his sn is zsert) He has recently decided that his time in VMK should be spent as a dark side jedi. Amazing how much that cowboy hat changed him, he grew a beard and turned sith, He did tell me though, that he sometimes likes talking to my friends better than other kids in the game, so if you see him, say hi and tell him you're from dis.

Here are some ideas though:

1) rather than PM'ing a bazillion DIS'ers, how about if you edit the first post subject to add [THE PRINCESS IS IN] when she's around, and then post a new post to the thread, to bump it to the top of the threads? Then, just remember to edit the subject again when she's gone.

That way, you'll be able to advertise to everyone at once.

2) if there are enough DIS kids who would like to meet one another, I would be happy to arrange a DIS Kids teleporter lobby linking their rooms. At least then, if they're on, and stay in their network, they might have a chance of meeting one another.

Hub of the Kid's teleporter network could contain DIS member donated items with the promise that they'd only be used for the Kid's central meeting area.

I bet a really, really cool lobby could be created with the generosity of DIS people.

Wonderful idea! I've been trying to get my DS ILikeCheeze to meet up with Surfcruiser's DS, Cruecrazy, as he already plays with Luvthattink's DS Starwarskid and enjoys him so much. This would be a great way to let the kids have their own 'play groups', and we can relax a little in the knowledge of our kids DIS environment.

Further, here's my testament to the wonderful DIS parents here, as I have 'friended' quite a few of your kids, cause hey, I 'heart' to play too, and your kids really do show me a wonderful time!
