Disney Magic Kingdoms

I’m assuming that the Duplicate Pin shop still resets after the event is over. Does anyone else remember hearing anything different for this event? I’m amassing a whole lot of duplicate currency since I started over after getting the broom. Kinda weird. I’m in a whole new territory here. I had gotten so used to the new pins dropping slowly that pin collection feels strangely fast now

Finished the season pass and got Periwinkle. The magic pin also finished off the pins thing and welcomed the broom. I don't have to spend effort on the pass or the pins now for about a month which will be nice. Mickey event thing is moving along just fine for the first day. Figment is one token away from level 9 so any day now.

If you can somehow complete the collection a second time you'll get enough tokens to level the broom to level 5. Being that it takes months to maybe unlock it once I don't see how people can finish it 2X without spending lots of real money.

I had unlocked the broom some time ago. I honestly don't recall spending any money this go around. I know I probably did for Chernabog and Figment. With 25 days left, I have 68 of the 96 pins for the second go around. I will say that the token drop rates for the broom have been much better than Chernabog. I just leveled up the broom to 4. I finally got Figment to level 10. Orange Bird is working level 6. Madame Leota is the one that seems to be taking me forever now. Granted during some of the last events I had to stop getting her tokens to focus on the event characters due to character limit and the legendary/epic drops and 12 hour combo tasks.

Okay, so it is not just me. Weird, no? I din’t spend any cash either. I did spend some gems on the chest chain for pins (which also paid for pin chests in Dreamland). I’m guessing we can’t the banked duplicate currency for the next event. Not really sure how to spend it. I have quite a bit

Did you get back on Monday? We had the Dream right next to us and that is a crazy world!
Sailed 2/23 through 2/28. Guess it was a bit longer ago than I realized. The food was pretty terrible throughout the ship, as were the dining hours, so I probably wouldn't sail with Disney again any time soon. But if we do, I'm certainly leaving from Port Everglades and never Port Canaveral. The lack of theme-park element in their Disney clothes and ridiculous ear hats was a welcome atmosphere.

The food wasn’t terribly great the last time that I was on the Dream either. They are past due for a new chef. I did add a comment on my last post-cruise survey to them stating such. Literally, I wrote down that they needed a new head chef. I also added that it had zero to do with the servers, as they did their best to make things right. It seems that the servers always get hit with the weaknesses of the kitchen, but I don’t know how to pass along that type of feedback in any other way

The food on the Destiny was a dream (pun totally intended there). No complaints on any of it. It is sad how little consistency there is in kitchen quality from ship to ship

I was on the Treasure last November (over Thanksgiving) and then on the Destiny back in January. Pirate night is probably the worse menu of all. It needs a total revamp. Overall, to me, the food was good. Yes, there are hits as well as misses. When I travel with a group of people, for Pirate night we have learned to request Indian food ahead of time. This usually turns out to be a much better choice.
