I have $700 for vacation. HELP ME!

First of all, thank you in advance to everyone that has helped me when I requested information on NYC for the upcoming April vacation; however, I'm not 100% sold on the idea of NYC for the kids (dd12; ds11 with PDD/Mild MR) and ds5.

Sooo, if anyone can help me plan a 2-3 day vacation from RI for about $700 or so for one adult and three kids I would soo appreciate it.

I am willing to drive 4-5 hours. I think that's the most the kids could endure. I would love to fly. Thanks to recent tv commericals the little one wants to go to "where you get a free night when you buy three" which is Atlantis in the Bahamas. Yeah, I wish!

SO budget minded buddies. Help me get out of RI for a few days!

Flying isn't going to happen I don't think, sorry. Even if you got a flight for $100, that would only leave you $300 for food, rental car and lodging.

Have you been to Mystic/White Mountains/Cape Cod? If any of those appeal to you I can give you more info on things to do (as I'm sure a number of us can). Some of the problem is that many places in New England here don't open until May/June.

You can stay here for 3 nights for around $500. This includes the water park and some food credits. The rest of the meals would be extra.

Thanks for the suggestions. I know (sigh) that we can't fly anywhere, but I can hope..

We go to the White Mountains soo often, and nothing is open
We do Coco Key all the time (Danvers, MA)

I'm not too sure about the Cape Cod Resort, does anyone have any opinions? Is it better, worse or the same as Coco Key
