I have 2 reservations, which one should I drop?

We secured 2 dinner reservations and need to drop one....

Biergarten or Ohana's

I have heard great things about both but can't get reservations on separate days for these.

Which one would you keep and which one would picky eaters prefer?

You have a better chance of getting another Biergarten ressie then Ohana. In fact, you might be able to get a walk up seating for Biergarten.

And having picky eaters in my family-Ohana might be safer

I would probably say Ohana's with the majority, but if it is your only day at EPCOT you may want to stay late and watch Illuminations. You will lose park time in the travels to the Polynesian.

I have only been to Ohana's one time and it was ok. I have never been to Biergarten even though last trip i wanted to go. If this helps i usaully base what restraunt i want to go to based on what type of food they have. Go to this website for what the menu's are. I would go to Biergarten but i have never been there so i don't know which one is better. http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm

We really love both and would give the slight edge to 'Ohana. However, if it's your only Epcot day, I'd rather dine at Biergarten at a leisurely pace and then see IllumiNations without stress, than worry about getting to 'Ohana for dinner and making it back in time for IllumiNations (which is a must-see IMO).

If you do decide to keep 'Ohana, remember you can take the Epcot monorail to the TTC and walk to the GCH. BEWARE! You want to walk at a good clip. Should you arrive at the GCH just after a monorail arrives, you will have HORDES of people in front of you also trying to check into 'Ohana. Going back to Epcot, same thing...just walk to the TTC from GCH. Skip the switching of monorails at the TTC to save time.
