I Hate Weathermen!!!

OK I feel better. We have been so excited to finally get some real snow and now the weather report has changed so we are supposed to get rain. I just want to take my youngest sledding. She has never been, in fact she has only played in the snow once in her life. Granted she is only 2 1/2 but still. I just hate it when the weather people get your hopes up and then nothing.

I'm so with you. We were so excited for a nice big snow. I'm sure we'll have a delay or off but what can you do in rain and ice?

I wish they wouldn't talk it up so much until they really "know"

I know how letdown you must feel because normally I would too, but I have a colonoscopy schedule for Wednesday and I DON'T want it cancelled. So, I'm very happy for any downgrade so I can make it to the hospital.

BTW monkeyboy, why do TV meterologists put so much stock (and airtime) into whether Puxatony Phil sees his shadow or not?

I'll trade you- we are still expecting 6-10 INCHES over night (100% chance of precipitation). Supposed to snow tomorrow and Wednesday.

I have no doubt that we will still have class. Area schools may possibly have a delay.

Well we have been upgraded to a heavy snow warning...anywhere from 6 plus inches of snow....and I hate the snow! I thought it was going to be far enough south that we weren't going to get any...YUCK.

.....well i'll trade with you. you can have the cold/ice/snow and i'll take the decent weather.

we've had quite enough of it since October, we could use a break. we weren't even supposed to get any snow, it was supposed to pass right below us. darn thing changed it's course!

What weather site do you all use? I have yet to find a good reliable one with minimal ad intrusion.
