I hate wearing tennis shoes . . . any ideas on supportive "flip flops?"

I second the Nike Comfort flip flops. They're not expensive either. My tennis shoes were killing me in the parks and I put the flip flops on and wore them all week. They're wonderful. The heel is bout 1/4 inch higher than the rest of the shoe and that really helps my plantar fasciitis. Plus, they're nice and cushiony.

I have flat feet and I find the Teva flip flops to be very comfortable. In the parks I wear walking shoes with orthotics for support though.

I can do miles and miles in two types of flip flops - Orthoheel (now Vionic) and Deckers (now Teva).
This thread made me do some research and I can't even get my favorite flip flops anymore because both brands changed. Sounds like everyone loves Teva and Vionic now so hopefully the materials are the same.

I always wear some kind of slides when at Disney because in between my toes get sore from walking so much

I wear Merrell sandals. I have a black and brown pair that I alternate. Wore them for our entire trip back in September and my feet never bothered me!!!!
What style Merrell? I alternate between Merrell and teva. Merrells used to be much better. But they've changed their soles and they aren't as durable or supportive.
