I hate my friend! Need advice.

I just thought about this and My friend is a total liar.

OK 2 months ago we got the results for our audition for our 5th grade production. Keira my friend, her friend, and me all auditioned for the same part. The biggest girl part. I had never sung before anybody before and after the try outs Keira was like you sung great! Well I did not get it and Keira's friend did. We started practicing a week after and Alexis, Keira's friend sung one of her solos. I was all over the place emotion-wise because I wanted that part so badly and I could sing just as well. I have watched the other 5th grade productions and all of the other leading parts looked like her, Tall, long hair, hot, pretty, not geeky! I wanted a change and I was so mad that I put my head down for the rest of the practice. Later my friend asked why I did that. I did not want blow up on her so I just told her that I wished that I had Alexis's part that's all. Well she tells me "Well Alexis needed a chance in the spotlight for once" her words exactly. OK fastforward into a week ago and I watch a band concert video that Keira and Alexis were in. Then I see it. Alexis doing a clarinet solo. I had started band but quit and then I hear Alexis say " Me and Morgan are like the best because were in the second book". I first I was ok but then I started thinking about what Keira said and what I just heard. She Lied to me! Keira, My best friend of 2 years, lied to me just because she wanted me to feel better about my singing. What she was really trying to say was "Well you got your chance in the 4th grade production and took it for granet so it's her turn now" I was Snow White in a variety show and I ended up regreting it because of the way I had to act. I just want to blow up at her next time I see her because she lied to me.

What should I do? I'm so sad. She thinks I am a geeky Disney freak that follows her around. I just know it. She was my only friend too! I feel alone in my class. I need advice.

Wow. This happens to me alot. Just find some other friends that are true and accept you as you are. Some of my "friends" think I'm a Disney geek/freak. I don't care. I like Vmk and Disney. I just try to find my real true friends

I wouldn't freak out too much. I think what your friend said was more of a "Try-To-Make-You-Feel-Better-About-_______" kind of thing.

Maybe back then your friend's friend wasn't all that much in the limelight, and then, later, she found something she is good at (Clarinet-ing.) I wouldn't worry about this sequence of events that much.

I don't see how them being in a second book is that awesome. Maybe your school is different than the way my school's band runs. band runs. Even my middle school had people performing the same songs in the same books. Ask them what chair they're in/what music (1st, 2nd, 3rd?) they're playing.

hmm.. Doesn't really sound that bad to me. You have to get used to it, in middle school and high school, girls are just like this. One minute they can be your best friend and the next minute they can just be a total jerk. You just have to find differnet friends. And I'm sure she isn't your only friend.

I'm sorry. But my best friends don't think that way. We are cheerleaders. Amy plays VMK too but she dosen't play the DIS. I have this two people in class who is really mean to me. Chamelle and Adelin. They really want Amy's attention. So they can be 'Popular girls'. I don't like to tell my best friend because she may find trouble with them and the head master might scold her and her parents would ground her. So everyday I try to avoid Chamelle and Adelin. I'm sure this will all work out. Even if you never talk to your friend again (a thing I wouldn't recommend--try talking it out), more friends will find you. I remember last year I was so concerned because my one and only friend was moving, but now I have lots of friends (and I still wonder how it happened).

Yea me 2, it just shows she isn't a real friend && don't worry another one or 2 or 3 might come along && they could be your REAL friends, && if you really feal lonely just say Hi to everyone or something && talk to them that way you have something to do other then be sad, dont let it get you down, shes just another awful friend that many of us have.....[[ like EVERYONE trust NO ONE ]] Just hold that head up high girl cause some ppl would kill to see you fall.
