Boy, I need to go to my happy place
Today has been a whiney Monday for me.
Cirque du soleil is coming to Philadelphia during Christmas, since me, my son and a few of his cousins are holiday birthdays we decided to get tickets.
Ok ticket price is $84.00 bucks but then they charge a $13.50 per ticket "handling charge". the only problem with that is I'm printing the tickets out at home, so what the heck are they "handling". Oh and a $2.50 delivery charge, and a $3.50 order charge.

Doesn't sound so bad but this was for one day - so the fees were almost equal to the cost of renting the car. There were 13 different fees and taxes attached to that rental. Of that $10 additional cost just $1 was for taxes the rest were fees made up by hertz. The one that really killed us was the fill-up fee (which was explained to DH as the fee for providing a car with a full gas tank). The irony of this one is of course is that they informed you at pick up that if you dropped the car off without filling it up they charged you $7.98/gallon for the gas. So we absolutely loved the irony of them charging you for something the previous renter did
