I Hate Cancer!

My dad had leukaemia and dies when I was 6. It was so hard for my sister and me especially as we weren't living withour mum at that point (it's a long story).

About 3-4 weeks ago I found out that mum friend's nan had breast cancer and I was able to help her because I knew how it felt to know someone who had cancer.

It is really sad when you find out someone has cancer.

My cousin (shes 80, was actually my great grandmas cousin) was diagnosed with cancer again last week. She had cancer already but beat it.

She is not going through treatment again and unfortunately they do not think her body can hold up without treatment.

Kylie, count my father in on that one. Event though there is SOLID evidence my cancer commonly reoccurs in the lungs, he keeps smoking. My oncologist and his team told him to stop, and he keeps smoking. His parents died of emphysema from smoking, and he still does it.

Sian and sister (I'm so sorry, I can't remember your name), I'm SO sorry. I can't imagine what you went thru and are still going thru.

I found out today that my history teacher had cancer.
I didn't know. :O
She's recovered, though. I'm not sure what type of cancer she had.

That makes me incredibly sad for you Sonya. That you've had cancer and he continues to smoke around you? How sad. I guess you can't make someone stop doing something but I'd at least hope someone would consider it out of love for their child.

He doesn't really smoke around me, he smokes in his room upstairs. If we're in a car together, all bets are off.
He almost missed our plane to LAX. Why? Because he needed a smoke.
You don't even know how much it pisses me off.
