Just had to cancel our Easter trip due to DH work ! He just had to much going on days before and after our trip. He promised to make it up to us so we booked GF/BC in June. I am still sad. I was so looking forward to being there on Easter! Friends and Family who do not "get" Disney think I am being a brat, but I know you guys understand. We had California Grill PS on Easter during the fireworks. It hurt canceling that. Just needed to vent.

I know exactly how you feel! I've had to cancel twice in years gone past. Both times I felt really down because I knew I wouldn't get to go that year, but planning the next trip sure did help!

My DS, 25 had to cancel his Easter trip with us as well- started a new job in Feb and April is their busiest time. He and his twin rescheduled for Dec and will meet us there after our DCL cruise. Though my DH, DS 10, and I still get to go in April, it won't be the same without our whole family.

But now you get to plan that much longer. I hope June comes quickly for you.

Look at the bright side - you still get to go pretty soon, you'll have fewer crowds and you'll get that much longer to obsess and plan!!!

I feel for ya! I've had to cancel every year for the past 4 years due to not having anyone to cover for me at work, DD's school testing and DW pregger with twins. We finally have our staffing up to date, DD's school schedule down pat and twins will be 1 y.o. I am currently working on a Dec. trip at Poly or WL.

Originally this week starting the 17th was supposed to be my first trip for the year to WDW but we had to cancel due to issues going on with my DH's family. I kept thinking to myself this week "ah, I should have been at WDW"

But try and look on the bright side...you still get to go...just not as soon as you hoped.
