I had to cancel 1 day before take off!!!

Hey You Guys,

Well I got to the single digit dance.......1 day to go then the hospital phoned to say it would be too dangerous for me to fly.......OH MAN. Im not posting for sympathy I am posting to say how fabulous the following companies have been whilst DH & I have been on one heck of a roller coaster:

Continental Airlines
Payless Transportation
Florida Car Hire
Online Florida

Because of the amazing companies above instead of claiming £2200K on our travel insurance we are simply having to claim just under £600. Continental have agreed to hold the cost of our flights in a account until January next year, and they have also agreed to wave the admin fee on sight of a doctors line. Dedspite only giving 1 days notice payless have agreed to pick us up 2next time" we visit for o additional cost!!! So thanks to the guys above we will be in a position to book up another holiday once I get the Ok to fly - fingers crossed in the next 2 weeks......

Just wanted to share a bit of good news on some fab companies, and hopefully I will get my pluto cuddle real soon ......

we were so surprised by the companies mentioned above especially since we were only giving them one day's notice. Continetal have been amazing and once we get everything sorted we will be dropping them a wee line to thank them for their support.

We are hoping I may be fit to travel in a couple of weeks, if not then it will be crimbo - but as you say pleanty of more planning and ADR time LOL thanks for all your kind thoughts.

Thanks for sharing this with us. It is good to hear there are still some companies around that can offer goodwill. So sorry you had to cancel but at least you can look forward to your holiday knowing the worse is behind you.

thanks guys for all your well wishes - looks like we wont get away til nov/dec now so it will be a wee while longer until I get my cuddle from pluto!! Although im sure the big petted lip I have will get me some more tours/character meals/shopping trips etc.....yeeeeeeahhhhh
