It really isn't that gross guys. Yes, sometime the curds squeek between your teeth, but if this bothers you, get the ones with smaller curd. Most of the time it melts the cheese anyway, so it just looks like cheesy fries. It's just cheesy fries with (usually) spicy gravy. Yum!

BTW- you MUST pronounce it right. If you say poo-tan instead of poo-tin it's the French for prostitute! A lady I was travelling with who didn't speak French made this error and she couldn't understand why they were laughing.

We found poutine sauce at a WalMart in Quebec one trip, I think I need to break one out and try it!
