Today, my mom picked me and my sister up, like usual, from school. And like we usually do, we started heading towards my brother's middle school to pick him up. So we're driving, and we hear sirens. My mom pulls over, and we see a ton of police cars driving quite quickly and we were wondering what was going on. Then behind us, we see an orange SUV cross the street, speeding, and 10 or so police cars following it.
So we get safely to my brother's school and pick him up and start heading home. We get the an intersection that's at pretty much the main street in my town. We're sitting there talking about what happened and thinking the guy was caught, and guess what we see? The orange SUV from earlier! It went down the wrong side of the road to go around our lane of traffic and get onto the main street. Then around a million police cars follow it, and more come from every direction. Very scary to see.
In all, almost all of the police cars chasing the guy had some form of damage and I've heard that two police cars ended up crashing into each other. Many. other cars had damage from the orange SUV or unrelated cars trying to get out of the way of the SUV. Some random guy hit my mom's mirror attempting to pull over. No one was hurt in the chase. Now this happened around the time everyone in town gets out of school, so pretty much all of my friends saw it too. The orange SUV almost hit my friend's car. I thank God he and my other friend who was in the car are okay.
