We had a blast, a few highlites, I got to finally ride upfront on the monorail
We saw an opening at the MK that we've never seen before, I had goosebumps all over, what a way to start the vacation. I chickened out on Mission Space, but we did everything else. Our longest wait for a ride was 5 minutes, it was great. We went to the parks in the AM left for naps and came back around 4 or 5, it worked out well for us. We had no transportation problems, seemed every time we got to a bus stop the bus pulled up. Longest wait was about 5 minutes. We rented the water mouse boats and because a storm was coming they called us in and we got them for free
At POR they were putting in new beds on the bayou side while we were there. They were up to building 17 when we were leaving on Tuesday.
I have nothing but good things about Spirit Air, leaving Orlando when we went to check in, I had boarding passes well they had us at the back of the plane I had us in rows 9 & 10, for the trouble they upgraded us to their "first class"
It worked out well since we were delayed on the plane due to a thunderstorm.
Finally, my heart goes out to all the Floridians. It was sad to fly in and out and see all the blue tarpped roofs. While we were there they finally got the last of the power back on. I told so many CM's & airport personnel not to worry that 70,000 of my closet friends are praying for them and doing the worrying for them. A few of them laughed at it; for a moment it relieved them of their stress.
One sad note, my son said he doesn't want to do Disney anymore, he's tired of it.
I"m sure that will change over time. He was the most excited going down.
Well, it was fun, but it's great to be back.
