I guess lots of peopel will have TWO ressies for Thanksgiving!

Why do they bother to black out these dates? I will have two nights at rack, three at AP. Many people who are staying throught the hoilday will have the same. Are they going to have us all switching around hotel rooms? On a busy holiday weekend. That should be real funny! The day after Thanksgiving every resort front desk will be mobbed with people getting new resort id's. Someone should draw a cartoon of the line down at the front desk with everyone getting new room cards. A "clueless" couple could be in the background wondering, "What are they giving away?"

One thing to remember - AP rates are based on availability. I think they are saying up front that they expect the hotels to be full on those dates and will not offer them. It's possible they will be very limited that weekend also. Good Luck tomorrow! I will probably have a split res too - one for Oct 1 and one for Oct 2 to 6. I'm hoping they will throw in September and Oct 1 into this so I don't have to split it.
