Came home from work today and the wife told me she didn't love me anymore.

What she said was "I left your cast iron soaking in the sink so that it would be easier for you to clean".

Biggest fight my ex and I ever got in was because she put my grandmother's (I inherited it) 1915 Wagner #10 in the dishwasher.

She knew better, it was the very first conversation we had when we moved in together, but she did it out of spite.

Some folks just don't understand how serious we are about our cast iron! I'm pretty sure cast iron has caused some epic family fights.

One of my favorite YouTube people (Kent Rollins) said "you'll never hear family members fighting over who gets the T-Fal" and, well, that's the truth

There are steps to help save this marriage:

1) Grab a large plastic bag
2) Put into said bag the following: electric drill, circular and flapper sanding discs from coarse to fine grit
3) Place bag under her pillow
4) Prepare to run

I'm a cast iron girl myself. I had bought a new pan years ago, not "seasoned" yet to my liking and my husband dropped a cracked egg into it. I blew a gasket!
