I guess I'm not in the character pool!

I thought I was in the character pool because after auditions last week they told all of us that had made it through the cuts that they'd be calling us sometime between two weeks and six months. Casting called me today to offer me a seasonal position (pending my phone interview and background check). So I guess I wasn't in the pool after all and they just no longer make immediete offers at the auditions?

You can be in the character pool and still be offered another role. Since so many people just want a job, they will work in Food or Merch until a spot opens up for them in Entertainment.

They offered me entertainment, they said they could give me a seasonal position, which is actually what I preferred because I don't have full time availability until the fall and need the extra time to move.

AHHH - HAHA! Yes, you were in the pool then, just not very long. They do make immediate offers if they have openings, but they must have had an opening just around the corner.

IDK, because they apparently didn't give anyone an immediete offer because they told us before we all performed our anmation that we were free to go as soon as we finished and they'd call us.

You have the best luck ever if they put you in the pool and a job came up right away! And if you weren't in the pool but they just waited a little bit before offering you the job... ***? Hahahaha guess they have to keep everyone on their toes! It's awesome for you either way
