I guess I am officially old!

I became a grandma last Monday (July 20th)!!!!!! My DS and his DW had a baby boy, Logan Anthony. I am so excited, and he so adorable!! He looks a lot like my DS as a newborn! And yes, I am planning on taking him to Disney as soon as he is old enough!!!! I already got him his 1st set of Mickey ears with his name on the back!

I could be a grandmother too only my sons won't get married. My 15 yo daughter better not even go there for at least 10 years .

I am a 'nanagandma' to 4 beautiful babies now. I love being a grandmother more than I ever thought possible. I look at them and I see their parents, my children, when they were small. It is so amazing to see the resemblence they have in personalities or looks or a smile. Positively the best thing the kids ever did for me!

The best part, I get to send them home when they get tired and cranky, I can feed them all the sugar and popsicles and ice cream I want, I can let them play in the mud and with the dogs and send them home dirty because I am the grandma. Yep...definitely the fun part is slowly but surely repaying my children for their teenage years! Honestly though...I never knew that my heart could hold this much love...

CONGRATULATIONS!!

I became a grandma for the first time in April! Little Xavier Garrett is 3 1/2 months old now and what a doll! My heart just melts when he smiles and gurgles at me!

I also am planning his first WDW trip! My DH and I plan on taking him in April, 2012 for his 3rd birthday! We'll go before his birthday so he'll still be free, then let him turn 3 with Mickey!!

My husband and I became grandparents for the first time last August. Our precious grandson will turn one year old next month! I can't even put into words how wonderful it is being a grandma. This little guy is the love of our lives.

We are taking our grandson (along with his mom and dad) to WDW next February, and can't wait!

Just so you know, having grandchildren doesn't make you old. The way you behave does.

I became officially old just before I turned 40. We had pulled up to a light and I heard a loud noise. As I rolled down the window I asked my husband "What is that racket?" thinking something was wrong with my truck. The car next to us was playing Led Zepplin's "Whole Lotta Love"!!! When one of your favorite songs becomes a racket then you are officially old

Congratulations. I don't think being a Grandma makes you old. I have 6 grandkids now and they keep me young. I agree with a previous poster that one of the fun parts is that you can spoil them and then send them home to their parents.

Congrats on becoming a grandma. We became grandparents for the 3rd time last night. Our DS and his DW had their first, a boy, Austin Michael and he is a big one. 9lbs. but oh so adorable. We also have a 6yr and 2yr old grandsons from our oldest DS and his DW. Being a grandparent is wonderful and it keeps you young and you see the world through their eyes. Cannot wait to take the newest addition to Disney.
