Whew! Now that you understand my "feeling" for Disney, you will understand all of the other crazy things I do for the most-awesomest place in the world. But, I guess most of y'all would understand anyway, right? I mean, otherwise, you wouldn't be on the DIS. And, if you think that you have the right to come on here and laugh at some of my crazy and weird things, then you can just move your mouse right up to the top of the computer screen...you see that little box with a red "x" in it? yeah, that's the one.........CLICK IT!!!!! NOW!!! I don't want any un-understanders here. This is confidential. Once you have decided if you are worthy to read my PTR or not....then you can scroll on down, and I'll get you started.

Okay then. Now that you guys are all here, I think that I should introduce our head agents on this mission.

First off, we have my DB, Blake. He is 9 years old, but will be 10 by the trip. He is Mr. Cool. He won't wear anything unless it is Under Armour. So get used to it...you'll see alot of these symbols on all of his clothes. This is the official Under Armour symbol, for those of you who don't have a store near you.
Under_Armour.jpg

He also has a love for the outdoors, not outdoors as in tree-huggerish, but loves the outdoors as in go-hunting-all-the-time-and-then-whenever-you're-not-hunting-just-admire-your-prey-like-they-are-your-friends. He is just weird like that. Oh, and he is our little athlete. He has tried football, soccer, and track, but baseball remains his favorite. He is currently juggling 2 select teams right now. Whew! Anywho, though, here he is.....my favorite (and only) brother.

Then, there is my wonderful, smart, ever-smiling, all-knowing DM, Kristi. She is our planner, our multi-tasker, our "if we're gonna make the 12:00 show, we need to get a move on"er, and best of all....our loving mom.
IMG_2042.JPG

Then, of course, there is my dad...Brad. He is our other family DISer. Most of you know him as TripTime. He loves Disney almost as much as I do. He is my awesome DD(dad...NOT daughter).
IMG_2041.JPG

Then, last but certainly not least is......drum roll please........ME! I'm Abbi, age 12, and a Disneyholic. I am also obsessed with the Lion King, although that phase has mostly passed. Oh, and I am a DramaQUEEN! I do alot of theater acting, and I'm just getting started with some on-camera stuff. I am probably one of the youngest TRers, but hopefully mine will be just as good. Here I am...

Okay, a few weeks back, I sung in a dinner theatre, and I thought that I would show you some of our pictures. I was a singing waitress. It was a very good experience. The play was Harvey, but I wasn't in it. I sung Matchmaker, Matchmaker from Fiddler on the Roof and Tomorrow from Annie. Matchmaker was supposed to be a trio, but our third member fell backstage and popped her knew out of socket. :sad1: OUCHHHHH! So, our trio became a duet...buuuuuut...we made it work. Here are the matchmaker pictures.......

Okay, well my brother has done it again. Today, he got hit in the lip by a ground-hop ball and had to get 4 stitches. He has managed to get stitches twice due to baseball, but never once got an injury during football. WEIRD! So, our Disney spirits were a little bit low today, but never fear! I was just playing the piano and I opened up my book to a random page and guess what song it was? Colors of the Wind! Coincidence? Who knows. Maybe it is an omen that we should go to Disney next week, so that we can see all of the "colors of the wind" since it is fall. HAHA! Mom would never go for it! Oh well! I can keep dreaming. Today, my dad and I were in the car and he asked me what restaurant I was looking forward to the most and I almost had a heart attack. I was having a crisis. The sun would not rise tomorrow. I FORGOT TO TELL Y'ALL WHERE WE WERE EATING! I'm the worst TRer EVER! We are eating at the Ohana, Mama Melrose's Italian, Whispering Canyon, Boma (sooooo excited), and Liberty Tree Tavern. I am super excited. Well, I'm getting tired...again...so, good night!

Good start Abbi. Tell them when we're going and where we're staying. But don't give all our secrets away.

Awesome!! It's so cool to see younger Dis'ers blogging about their PTRs and TRs -- and, oh, thanks. I now have that song (no, not the matchmaker one, or the Wind one, but the Woo-hoo one) rattling around in my brain...

Can't wait to hear more about your trip! :)

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful time and enjoying their gobble gobble day! Oh, and we are now 106 days away from March 11th, which is the day we leave for Disney! Well, today I'm going to dedicate this post to what I'm thankful for......

-My family, they are the greatest (yes, even.....BLAKE)
-My wonderful friends, they are always there for me
-Magic Kingdom
-Animal Kingdom
-EPCOT
-Hollywood Studios
-Disneyworld
-That place that Walt Disney created
-Disneyland
-The coolest place on the Earth (you can't get any cooler than Mickey Mouse)
-The home of Mickey and Minnie
-The place where "dreams come true"

Well, these are just a few, but, I bet that you get the jest of it. Well, here are some of our pictures from earlier today. We ate with my mom's side of the family at a place in Downtown Houston (YES, you guessed it. I'm from Texas! Y'all guys that just got that.......WOOOOOWWWW! I thought y'all would've guessed by now, because of all of my "y'all"s.) It was super good and I had WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much food, but the point is that I had A LOT of fun! The dark haired boy is Blake, the dark haired girl is me, the blond boy is Trey(my 5 year old cousin), the blond girl is Aubrie (my 3 year old cousin), and the baby girl is Madelyn (my 16 month old cousin). You can see that it is quite the hassle to get pictures with all of us cooperating. Wowwwwwww!:sad2::scared1:

I just loved this photo of Maddy!

IMG_3652.JPG

Finally.....
IMG_3655.JPG

Okay, these next pics have a story behind them....... the rest of the family was behind the camera going bananas trying to get Maddy to look at the camera. So, ofcourse, we all starting laughing hysterically. That just made her angry. In her angry fit, she tooted on my grandpa. This didn't help the mood! Just get a visual real quick. What do you get when you put 8 "mature" (or so we thought) adults going bonkers, jumping up and down, waving their hands everywhere, and making sounds that I didn't know they were capable of, a gassy angry baby sitting on my grandpa's leg, and us not able to stop laughing our heads off........MEMORIES(and some pretty funny pictures)!

Well, I have posted my limit on pictures so, I will go ahead and leave y'all to your laughing. Have a great gobble, gobble day and eat a bunch of turkey for me!

Okay, I just realized that I haven't introduced y'all guys to Mary, my trip planning binder. Yes, I named my binder. I know, I know.....I'm a dork! Her are some of the pictures that I took of it. I know that the pictures are blurry, but you're just going to have to deal with it!
Oh, and most of these DISigns are done by LittleMissMagic or Shadowryter (there are more, but I forget who.....please forgive me if I left you out)/
IMG_3679.JPG

All of the menus to the places that we KNOW we are eating + Ghiradelli from AllEars.net.
IMG_3680.JPG

I also got all of the Extra Magic Hours for the days that we are going from the Passporter website.
IMG_3681.JPG

Oh, and call me a dork...because I already know that I am one.....buuuuut, I got the channels for the resort tvs. I hate being stuck in the room watching Stacy's Top 10 over and over and over and over and over.....! It is enough to drive a person insane.
IMG_3683.JPG

Some personalized stationary, so I can write back home to my family.
IMG_3684.JPG

Some more awesome DISigns, just as decorations and they are also working as page dividers...

I can't seem to find the other pictures right now, but I 'll load them later. Bye for now!

Okay guys, thanks for hanging in there. I know that it has been a looooooong time, but I am finally back. First off, I wanted to wish everyone a very merry Christmas Eve. I just got back from the Christmas Eve service at our house and it was really fun. We lighted candles, held up glow sticks, and sung some classics. Anyway, the other night, we had my grandparents, who will be going with us, over and we were doing a litle planning on how we are going to get there and when we will leave and such. This reminded me that a PTR is not just a journal, because I am pretty sure that y'all don't care one wit about my life (this isn't twitter). So, I'm going to lay out the plans real quick, but please remember that none of these are set into stone quite yet.

Okay, we plan on leaving one of 2 days. We are still deciding. Either my parents check Blake and me out of school on the Thursday before our Spring Break starts (March 10) and we drive a few hours that day and maybe get a hotel some where in Louisiana and then drive it all the way through the next day and get to Orlando around 5:00, get a hotel somewhere near Disney and hit the parks early the next day and get a full park day in.

Pros: Cons:
Get there quicker Miss school
Have full park day Get another hotel room
Not rushing Hotel room= more $
Get to miss school (good for Blake and me, at least)

OR, we leave early on Friday morning (March 11), drive hard and heavy all day, get a room in Florida, wake early next day finish last 3 hours of drive til Orlando, and go to parks.

Pros: Cons:
Have Thursday evening to rest Miss School
Thursday= last minute packing Hard driving
Not full park day

So, we are still deciding on those 2, but we will get there in the long run with both, and that's all that matters. :goodvibes Well, I'm about to head over to my grandparents' for Christmas, so good bye....and have a happy holidays!

Okay, so we have strted on our agenda. We are not sure quite yet but this is what we have so far. We aren't so sure of what we will do on the last two days, I guess just what we feel like doing, but I'm going to leave those blank for now.

Agenda2011-1.jpg

Also, I hope that everyone has had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did. I got a cell phone (to text my friends and family at Disney), a new digital camera (to take pictures at Disney), a hipster purse (to keep my stuff close at Disney), a Mickey key chain (to hang on my new purse while I'm at Disney), a Minnie Mouse pen (to put in my purse while I'm at Disney), a Disney Karaoke CD, Epic Mickey for the Wii, the new Disney Sing It-Family Hits, the Lion King On Broadway piano book, a few new Mickey shirts, and alot more. As you can see, I most definitely had an awesome Christmas. Have a good rest of the break and stay tuned for my next update (however many years from now, that will be :lmao:)!

Okay, these are the top 10 things that I am most looking forward to doing, seeing, or eating while we are at Disney!

1. Going with my grandparents for the first time since I was a toddler (which reminds me that I need to introduce them)

2. Eating a snack in each one of the countries in World Showcase at EPCOT (a new tradition)

3. Taking pictures in every single hat that I find

4. Trading some cool pins

5. Eating at Boma and seeing all of the cool animals

6. Gettin' my Cajun on! Staying at French Quarter.....love their bengets (did I spell that right?)!

7. Seeing Fantasmic (we didn't get to see it last time

8. Seeing the reaction on my grandparents' face when they try the Beverly unknowingly at EPCOT! (super excited about this one)

9. Seeing the Electrical Parade (or whatever you call it.....you know what I mean)

10. GOING TO DISNEY IN GENERAL!

Well, I am hungry, and some sizzling uhomemade pizza is calling my name, so I'll see you later.

By the way, this post was supposed to be December 31, 2010, but something happened to our computer, so I will do another one for today!

Well, this year has not kicked off good. On New Year's night, my border collie, Oreo went missing. She has a deathly fear of fire works, so we think that may have prompted her disappearance. :sad1: We searched for a while yesterday, but it was dark. We were gone all day yesterday, and we didin't even notice her gone until we got home at 7:00 last night. She had been gone all day. We drove around the neighborhood but couldn't find her. I'm afraid that she may be gone forever. Oh well, on the bright side, maybe she will get a home that cares and loves her very much! Here she is....our little Oreo! (by the way...these pics are a few years old, when we first got her)
IMG_2161.JPG

IMG_2163.JPG

IMG_2159.JPG

IMG_2158.JPG

Notice how one of her eyes is blue and one is brown? Well, anyway, although we've lost someone.......we also have some intros to do!

First off, we have my grandpa, Boyd! He will be known as DGP or Pawpaw. He is one of those guys that will just kind of go with the flow and do whatever. Here he is........

IMG_2971_edited-1.JPG

And then, we have my grandma, Sandy! She will be known as DGM or Gammaw. She often makes remarks which aren't meant to be funny but turn out so. This is the wonderful, the marvelous, the lovely.....Gammaw!

IMG_4589.JPG

Shhhhhh...don't tell her I put this pic on the internet!;)

So, anyway, even though we lost a puppy, we gained traveling companions that will be a lot of fun. They have only been with us once before when I was a toddler, so they have a lot to learn. I hope that they are ready to do Disney like they've never done it before.....

Well.....I have some good news. OREO IS BACK! We got a call from someone saying "we have your dog." No more, no less. We drove to the address (which turned out to be a helicopter launchpad) and there she was! She is now safely in our backyard and we WILL be keeping a very close eye on her. We are getting closer and closer to our trip! My family all used some of their christmas gift cards to buy lots of Disney (mickey in particular) shirts. I am getting more excited by the day! We were just watching some old home videos, and even when I was 8 years old I looked at some arranged contemporary looking circles on the wall of a cruise ship and said, "Hey look, a hidden mickey!" Even then, I had a Disney obsession. Well, I know that was a really short update, but I gotta go, so bye-bye!

Hi Abbi! Don't you hate when no one reads your ptr?? I DO! I'm 18, but I am just as Disney obsessed as you!!!! I also have a ptr going, link's in my siggie! You should check it out! I'm so excited that your trips only two months away! I wish mine was! Anyways, I'm subscribing! LOVE your trip binder! I'm in the process of making mine as we speak!

Okay guys......sorry that it has been so long. I've been super busy. Well, my dad's birthday was on Thursday and we had a surprise party. We all gave him ** amount of things for him (don't want to give away his age, since he'll be reading this......love ya Dad). I gave him ** Mickey heads in a big chain and we made a sort of countdown out of it. Very cheesy, but still. He is now loaded up on coffee, shotgun shells, and Mickey heads.........;). We are gettng closer and closer to The Trip! SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!! It is official that we will be staying at Port Orleans: French Quarter. We will be going with my grandparents and we will be having LOADS of fun (who doesn't)! Also, I have a favor to ask of y'all. You have plenty of time, so no pressure, but I need a title for my upcoming TR. I have no idea of what to put. At the end y'all can vote. Maybe by then, I will be updating more regularly and will have more posters. So, I'm leaving it up to y'all. Thanks you guys so much! I can't wait to see y'all's awesome ideas. Well, I gotta finish my homewok, so good nite, sleep tight, and dream of bed bugs tonight(supposed to be from Lion King...u dont get it? Oh, never mind.......)

P.S. Sorry for lack of pictures, but I am on the laptop right now and there are not very many on here. I'll try and post some soon...once I find something to post.......;)
