We just returned from our January trip. DH, who is Disney-challenged, always says he doesn't want to hear about Disney for at least six months. So I begin planning on the sly!

Anyway, DS (with the huge mouth) tells DH that I said we are going to try October for our next trip to do MNSSHP. DH asks me if I'm already planning things. I say yes, for 2005.

And he says, "Why not Oct 2004?" I practically fell down!!!! Of course he said we could talk about it another time, but I think I've finally converted him! Can you belive it!!!!!

So my question is, do you feel they are going to do the Fairytale package again? I don't want them to, actually, as I don't want it to be to crowded!

They offer the special packages to get people into the resorts when they're underbooked. Latest reports are that attendance is up so it's possible special deals from Disney won't be as attractive this year. However if people are booking their vacations without the packages, it probably won't result in lower attendance. But October shouldn't be too bad regardless. Good luck!

I don't have an answer to your questions- I just wanted to congratulate you on the conversion. My DH won't let me go back for a couple of years "he says". I can feel a revolt brewing, and I just got back!

I just want to say "Congratulations" on converting DH!! I've been able to get my DH down to WDW at least 15 times over the last 25 years (having 2 kids that he loves to spoil and frequent flyer miles helped a lot!), but last trip, April 2002, he said "that's it!" So our 2003 trip was to Key West (and we all LOVED it; not Disney, but a great trip).

April 2004, believe it or not, is WDW again. My DD is in a cheering competition in Tampa on April 16, and we're driving over to Orlando after the competition. DH was originally just going to do the Tampa extended weekend, but now is "thinking" about the WDW part of the trip! So, he's feeling the pull of the magic, I think.....

I wish I would have had a tape recorder running when strolling through the MK I heard my husband say "You know besides all the hassle of traveling I really like this place". I remind him of it every time I start planning :)

If you do go in October check when the Golf tournament is. Crowds are a little heavier then.

I know exactly how you feel. When my DH said he wanted to go to WDW for our anniversary trip, I about fell over!

If bookings are up as much as they say they are, I doubt they will offer it, at least not as good of a deal as it was last year. But I will keep my fingers crossed for you. :)
