I got two pink car pins!

Ok this is what happened. I completed the pink car quest, and got my pink pin. Then when I logged on today, I got a message saying that they had made a mistake and given out blue pins instead of pink pins (which perhaps happened to some people), and when I looked in my inventory there was another pink pin! So now I have two of them lol, and apparently, (I tried it, but didn't confirm), I can combine them for a two star. Lol!

Same thing happened to me! Got the message and I checked inventory - now have two pink car pins! Did you combine them? If so, does it takes less time to recharge?

I combined my two blue pins to make it a two star. Unfortunately, it does not make the magic time last any longer. According to VMK's FAQ page, they did not give this magic the ability to do so.

I'm one of the people who received two blue pins by mistake. Here's how it happened:

Tuesday night, when I completed Autopia Quest 1 (blue pin), I received
the message that there was no prize available! (MousseDude posted a
screen shot of that message in another thread.) I went ahead to do
Autopia Quest 2 (pink pin), but when I was finished, I was awarded the
blue pin by mistake!

So yesterday, when I logged into VMK, I received a message about getting
the blue pin for completing the Autopia Quest 1. Sure enough, I had two
blue car pins in my inventory! A VMK staff member told me the pink pins
will be fixed.

So when I saw this post, I was excited! I expect I'll get a pink pin (finally!). If I still have two blue car pins, I'll combine those.

I did the same thing BriarLori did. Had 2 blue pins and no pink yesterday. Got my pink pin today and still have 2 blue.

I think I have two pink and one blue.... I expect one of the pinks to be taken back by VMK when all is said and done.......

I did know know you could combine them.... hmmmmm

I got the extra pink pin also- and I combined them-

I just compared my double pink to blue, yellow and green

Blue car- 8 seconds of cruise time
Pink- 9 seconds of cruise time
yellow- 10 seconds of cruise time
green- 11 seconds of cruise time

All except my 2 star pink take 5 minutes to recharge- the 2 star takes 4 minutes to recharge...

So if you ended up with two of one pin there is a slight advantage there
