I got to wear my Mickey Graduation pin today

Ok, my chance to brag. I wore my Graduation Mickey pin today. the one from WDW where Mickey is wearing a blue cap and gown with a gold tassel. and my son, who graduated from Notre Dame High School today wore the same thing, a blue cap and gown and gold tassel.
I had quite a few compliments on the cute pin. I should have bought more, I could have made a bundle...lol
And my son, who I could just scream at right now made High Honors this marking period. He failed 3 subjects with grades of 55 and 58, and 59 last marking period and told me he could make honors if he wanted to. I bet him $50, and it is the nicest loss of $50 in my life. He brought all his grades up above 85, I could just scream, a 55 to a 90 just by studying a little. Imagine what he could have done if I had made that bet with him 4 years ago.
Well I promised him $100 each semester if he gets grades above 85 in college so it is on to Fairfield University for him. I will let you all know in 4 years. Peggie

Now, if i were to make that kind of bet i'd be broke!!! LOL I think that 's great. However, with three daughters graduating college next year, if you'd like to adopt one or more, they'd be thrilled. So proud of you Chris - way to go!!!...and you too Peggie - your baby is on his way!

It is a thrill to see your kid standing up there.. Now we are on to our grandchildren..the first is Crystal next year...

Be careful w/ those bets though Peggie..You have cruises to pay for...he could keep you good and broke....lol One could only hope Huh!!

Doesn't that just get you. My son is Graduating from HS this year also. In Grammer school and Middle School he was always on the Honor Roll. Then HS rolls around, and he was just passing. Then this year he decided he was going to do better, and was on the Merit Roll all year. Grades in the mid to high 80's while laying on the couch. Can you imagine what he could have done if he actually picked up a book.
