I got to ride NEMO at 9:21am!

Yeah, I'm not going to like this much either if one person is running at rope drop and then saving a place in line for a group.

It almost sounds like hitting nemo first thing may not be ideal if that's where the masses are going. I'll be eager to hear how things pan out for the next few weeks. It may be better to wait for that initial surge to get through (unless you can by some luck be at the front of the pack). Maybe waiting until later in the day, grabbing lunch and eating lunch in line will be a better strategy??

Keep the stories coming. I want to hear from everyone who gets to ride nemo when they went and how long it took. :)

I just have to say that sending a "runner" ahead to save your place in line is wrong. There are 40 seats on each sub and each of those people should be in line when the line starts to secure those seats. It is not fair to all the other hundreds of guests waiting to ride Nemo. Once in line, if a bathroom break is needed, that is ok. But, when the line starts, you need to be there to make it ok to be ahead of anyone who has is there before you. Sorry, but I feel really strongly about this and I hope DL CM's enforce this policy.

So yesterday I took off work to try to ride Nemo and my goal was achieved! The park opened at 9am and I was boarding Nemo by 9:21am. We got there early but we were way behind all the people in front of the rope on Main Street. Our strategy...we sent my friends 12 year old to the line. That boy ran like the wind and then we joined him. Tons of people did that. They sent all their runners out as soon as the rope dropped! FYI: Don't go through Tommowland to get to Nemo go the other way.

I have only been to DL once, what other way is the best?

Can someone explain how everyone in the family/group actually gets into the line with your "runner"? How do you get into line with that person who is way ahead without pushing and shoving your way past people who are already in line? I don't get it. In some lines you can't even see where the person ahead of you is in line.

I am curious just to know where the que line is? Behind the matterhorn? If so, do you go to the left or right of the matterhorn to get there?

We got in Nemo on EE..and while the ride was different..it was also the same..It was cute..but I wouldn't have waited in the line that stretched almost all the way to Fantasyland to ride it..
