I was picked to be an extra at the Indiana Jones show on the 11th.... I have been trying to get picked for what seems like forever..... It was way fun.....

My sister was an extra in May of last year and my DH was an extra last November, and he can't wait to try again in January!! It was so fun to see him in the show!!

It's a neat thing to do. I got picked a few years ago. This trip, I got to be an extra in the backlot tour. I was assigned to the PT boat as a deck hand (didn't want to be in the engine room chair!). Still got plenty wet from the air cannons, though. One thing they tell you, the blue jacket and pants they give you are water RESISTANT, not water PROOF! The other 3 people in the show with me hadn't seen it before, so they were caught off guard, especially the poor woman from England who got assigned to the chair!

I tried for 6 trips to get picked and the day I got engaged in Disney (my 7th trip) I was finally picked (along with FI) to be in the show!!! I told people that I didn't know what made me happier - getting engaged or finally being in the show!!!! My sister got picked on our last trip, but the show had to end before she did anything but say her name thanks to a thunderstorm.

My husband and I have both been picked. We found out that the secret is to sit up front, scream when they ask for extras and basically bring attention to yourself. It is a blast!!! Congrats on joining the club.

I was picked in September - was basically loud and up front. Also, when we were in line doing the turn left/lean right/do a dance, apparently my dance was quite - ahem - spectacular as I had to go out in front of everyone and get 'shot' by the director and dramatically 'die'. I personally thought it was Oscar material Luckily DH caught it all on film
