My mason was able to get up and inspect the chimney today and he agreed it just needed to be repointed. Now the seller is going to try to get the work done or give me a credit. So at this point everything looks good!

Well, after a month of painting, sanding, spackling, etc. I have finally moved in!!! Now I just have to unpack!!! Also hoping everything survived the move in one piece. If you're going to be in the Hartford/Waterbury area drop me an e-mail and I'll be glad to give you a tour!
