Okay, I was one of the ones who was able to use THE CODE yesterday to book AKL. I'm not getting into whether it was right or wrong or could or couldn't be used by the general public. Then, today I open an email account that I don't use much and there is the pin code email. :lmao: It is my email but has my maiden name on it. The interesting thing is my mother will be going with us on this trip, so I guess I could use the pin code. I can't decide if it's better to leave things as they are or rebook using the pin to be "safe". I think it's hilarious that the day after I use the code the email comes in.

When are you going?

Have you been to Disney before with your maiden name?

Did the email that came in with your maiden name have the same address as a previous reservation?

Just curious. It would seem that you have the "pin" associated with your name or address. Not sure how you plan to use the PIN for your mother unless she is at the address on the email (which I guess makes sense if you lived at home before you got married!) I would think you could just add a room on the reservation you have now with the code.

I wouldn't worry about "making it right". Everything I am reading says that you wouldn't have gotten it if you weren't entitled to it.

Now if your traveling outside of the dates on the email/postcard then I want to know how you did that because I want to do that too!

Congrats on getting "the code":goodvibes

I don't think you need to rebook....if it's associated with your name or address, it would have already been in their system.

Our dates are December 19-28. Since I have a DDE card I'm going to crunch some numbers and see if we could skip the DDP. I kind of like having the DDP just because we don'thave to worry about the dining with it. I just found it very curious. The email just says Hay Family with no other name or address on it. It is pretty funny.

Well I guess that explains it! You must have the code associated with your name or address since your dates are in the dates of the postcard/email. At least your reservation starts on those dates.

Congrats! Enjoy your trip!
