i received the e-mail this morning for the discounted rates and it would cover the dates we're interested in going...

but can anyone tell me...my husband is an online student. he would have to have internet access. if we stayed at a value resort, is there internet access available? about how much would you say is the charge for the internet connection if it's available?

All the resorts have a dataport on the phone for dial up connections. It would be 75 cents per call for a local #. He would need to get a local # or 800# to dial into. Some of the resorts have high speed connections for $9.95 per day but I don't believe the value resorts are connected to that.

All resorts have dial-up access and a few have high speed access and even fewer have wireless access. My dh is also a student. We are staying at CSR for this very reason---it has high speed and wireless. It's the least expensive with these options. I think next you would have to go over to the Yacht Club (?). High speed service is $9.95 for 24 hours.
