I got the Disney Princess Tree !!!!

Well I decided to go ahead with the Disney Princesses theme for Christmas for my granddaughter and bought the tree tonight. Also got the "official" Disney princess lights.. There are only 6 Disney Princess ornaments with the tree so I went over to the Dollar Store and found some of the neatest little ornaments! They look like wrapped pieces of candy - in light pastel shades - (made out of some sort of plastic) and then they're sort of "frosted" looking.. Also got this neat garland that is kind of like fake crystal and shimmers in a white-purple-pink tone.. It's really neat cause the "crystals" look like things that would be on a Princesses tiara..

I decided to wait until my granddaughter comes next weekend and have her decorate the tree with me.. I have SOOO many activities planned for us I just had to call her parents and ADD on an extra day to her sleep-over!

Last night I ordered some personalized Hershey Kisses labels from a DIS/eBay friend. They're round and you stick them on the bottom of each one. I ordered "Kisses From Kaitlynn" around the outside edge of the circle and then there are all these kissing lips in the center! I'll have her stick the labels on and then we'll put them in fancy candy dishes and/or mugs for her to give to her Mom & Dad, my DH, and her other Grandma & Grandpa.. Pretty cool idea - huh?

I'm really getting excited now! If I can figure out how to take a picture of the tree and post it after it's decorated, I'll do so..

Thanks for encouraging me on this idea - I think it's going to be great!

You are so good. You make me miss my Grandmas very much. My one grandma passed away 4 years ago (just 7 days after I moved across country) and my Other Grandma is alive and well, although she is 2500 miles away in Salt Lake City.

C.Ann - I saw this tree is a store the other day (can't remember which one now!) & I thought of you! It is darling - perfect for a Grandma & her little granddaughter! Have fun decorating it with her.

Gosh! You thought of me? In a store? I feel honored!

I can't wait for next weekend to get here! Tree trimming; riding around looking at the decorated houses; baking cookies; making our Gingerbread house; singing Christmas carols; doing the "kisses" for all the special people in her little life; snuggling in bed to watch Christmas videos - makes me so happy I could cry!! LOL

I sure do LOVE that little girl - and I sure do LOVE being a "Grandma".............

Just got back from TDS at the Mall -- they had toys buy one get one free -- tons of Princess stuff, Princess dolls, etc.
