I got stopped this morning!!

It's really cold here in Chicago this morning, so I broke out the new Stitch winter hat that I bought at DL. Now this is a pretty amazing hat. It's toque style with Stitch ears, blue hair and antenna on it. I'm a pretty amazing site. So I'm driving to work this morning, and all of a sudden I see THE lights behind me. I pull over and so does the officer. Roll down my window, the cop walks up, takes one looks at me and cracks up!! So there we are both laughing and he finally tells me that my license plate has expired and to get a new tag. The man was crying!! Oh well at least I made someone's day today!

The moral of the story is "wear a funny hat so in case of a unwanted meeting with a police officer he is humored so much as to avoid a ticket!"

That is hysterical! I can guarantee DH would not have written you that ticket either. And chances are he would have taken a picture with his camera phone (with permission of course) to send to me since I am a huge Stitch fan.

Yep got off with a verbal warning. I'm just picturing the local police now looking for a middle aged woman in a PT Cruiser with a Stitch hat just to verify that the officer was not halucinating!
