We did Philharmagic one MVMCP night and there were all of 20 people in the ENTIRE theater. So, we picked a seat in the middle. :idea:

Along comes a couple that ignored the scores of EMPTY rows in front AND behind ours and proceeded to move all across our row, stepped on our feet, and grumbled about "people stopping in the middle of the row" We wound up being the ONLY FOUR people in the row with me and DH in the middle, the other 2 people ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT.

Now, I'll follow the rules, but come on, people.

They were following Rule 2. When people stop in the middle of a row, step on their feet as you are going by.

Yes. This is a well known cure for aisleus interruptus.

Even if there are empty rows, it is considered proper to find middle of the aisle folks and target them.

In my best Sam Eagle voice;

Stopping in the middle of the row is decidedly unpatriotic

Seriously, those people really need a life ~ they did that in an empty theater, why?

I would have to agree -what's the point?

Well - it could have been done by accident. It's not exactly a wide aisle to traverse when you do have to walk across. Thus the request to have all move across..

I guess I would more question why anyone would waste time at a hard ticket party going to Philharmagic when there's never a wait for it during the day. :rotfl2:

Sorry, I do find it funny if it was really THAT empty that they would push by people and move to the end.

There was another thread recently about the sanctimonious people that said they would purposely step on others feet no matter how full the theater was if they stopped in the middle.

I can say if they did that to me, they might just have a sore ankle or worse. Who are they to say where anyone is to sit when a theater is basically empty.

We were in one of the theaters (France, I think) just a week and half ago and there were very few people in it. We all sat in the middle of the rows (top to bottom). No one tried to pass us - they would sure have gotten what they dished out - gimme a break!

Sorry, that is not the case -

When very few people are there, there is no need to pass you - period!

AWWW!! We LOVE Philharmagic. It's one of our top 3 MK attractions! When Ariel sings and throws the jewels at you! Goosebumps!!!

Pretty sure that thread was started about people who would stop in the middle even though the CM was telling them to move down either all the way or at least 3/4. When it's pretty crowded. When it's damn rude. That is a whole lot different than 20 people in a theater.
