I don't talk much, but look out when I get started!! heehee
Remember my pity post Tuesday about not losing much weight and wanting to give up and eat a bag of Oreos??
Well, thanks to all of you guys' wonderful support, encouragement and suggestions, I DID NOT go buy a bag of Oreos, and I kept up with WW, Curves, and my WATP tape!
I decided to try Amy's suggestion of the "Wendie Plan" that she posted. Thanks, Amy!
So, Tuesday I had low points, and Wednesday was my day to go very high. Wednesday night I went to a buffet dinner/spring fashion show given by a local xray/ultrasound, etc. place for a bunch of us who work for doctors. We each got a little "goodie bag", also. They had little things like purse mirrors, nail files, ink pens, sticky-notes, a piece of jewelry, and a snack!! There were various snacks, but in my bag was a small pack of mini-OREOS!!!! I took that as a sign! I was meant to "eat a whole bag of Oreos, after all!! heehee Just a small single-serving bag, not a whole big package!! So, I figured the points, enjoyed my Oreos immensely !!!! Luckily, it was my "high point" day!
Thursday, I ate very low points, and Friday I ate high.
At WW Saturday morning I had not only lost the pound I had gained from last Saturday to Tuesday, but also 2 1/4 more!!
I learned 4 things from this experience:
1. Don't pay attention to what the scale says in between the weekly weigh-ins. It can vary day to day with water weight, etc.
2. If I have as strong a craving as I was having, I should indulge. Just exercise some portion control, and not go over my points for the day (whatever they may be that day). I was meant to have those Oreos!!
3. The "Wendie Plan" might be just what I needed to get me jump-started again. Thanks again, Amy!
and last but not least,
4. Never underestimate the power of group support!!
THANKS! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!
Onward and Downward!!
Debbie
