I got my lime green Mickey Heads, now what do I do with them :-)

I went to Home Depot and picked up some lime green Mickey Heads like I read to do - but now I'm not sure what I do with them I think some people said they put them in a lanyard? Do they give you a lanyard when you board the boat or should I bring one with me. How big is the KTTW card? Is it the same size as a credit card/hotel key?

HI Sue,

You can purchase a lanyard onboard. They're sort of like ribbon with a plastic credit card holder on the hook. KTTW cards are the same as the KTTW cards you get at the resorts. They are the size of a credit card.

I usually put our dis names on the Mickey paint chip and then put it with my KTTW card in the plastic holder. You don't really need a purse onboard since everything is paid for through the KTTW card.

I printed our address, laminated them to the Mickey Heads and made tags for our luggage and backpacks, easy to find at the baggage claim with all those black bags.

You could also write your DIS name on it and glue a magnet to the back to put on your stateroom door!

We put ours on our statroom door with our names on them. If you have a common name you may want to make 2 of that name. DS Michael's went missing from our door about 1/2 way through the cruise! I had extras so not a big deal. Could have just fallen off or something, ya never know. Anyway it was a fun way to find our room.

DIS'ERS usually associate themselves with this color. THey even sell t-shirts and other things on this board.....Very fun..Home Depot has the paint color samples in the shape of Mickey Heads...Grab some...

I picked some up last week. I was wondering what I was going to do with them. Figured I wear one for embarkation and meet some other Dis people.

I am looking into going to Home Depot to find the mickey heads. Question for everyone, has anyone ever hosted a DIS meet or attended one? We are looking into getting together on our June 5th cruise, but haven't a clue how to get one going or what to do.
Any ideas or suggestions would be welcomed.

Check out the Cruise meet boards for your week of travel. In the past, we've met at Scoops around 3:00. We use the lime green Mickeys as a way to identify ourselves to other dissers.
