I got my first Fuel Surcharge Yesterday from Schwann!

My Schwann guy came yesterday! I have him come once a month and when he broguht in my order he said I have some bad news! Ekks, I thought he has found a new job. He has been our guy for several years and is very nice! He delivers to all of the family! He told me there is now a fuel surcharge due to the rising gas price! I though oh no. Well it was not that bad, it is only $1.00. That I can deal with! So i can see what is ahead for every thing!

We got that notice too. In the 70's Schwan's converted all their delivery trucks to propane to save money on gas. It was a huge cost saver then, but not now.

I think most places just raised their rates and don't announce it. But we will see a lot more rising prices I think.

I got the same notice when our Schwann's guy came this week, he really felt bad about it but what can he do, obviously it is a company wide thing.
