Thansk again floridafam. I think we have fond memroies of WL cause we went there once when we were very young and engaged. Back then we actually had fun together all the time! LOL I just remember us being so impressed when we walked in that lobby. I had only stayed on propert twice at that point, PO and CB. Other trips had been with discounst at Hoilday Inn from my dad's work! We were liek now this is cool....................

Stinks about the 20%. I had wanted to pay all by debit or check, but I guess I'll ahve to put a littel now on Disney CC. At elast we'll get Disney Dollars!

I'll try and call guide today. The only reason i keep worrying about SSR is cause of all the incentives. Plus, it looks liek I'll ahve to try and rent these add on poiinst cause I'll be close to the banking deadline and won't be able to use them by the end of November. Just seems liek a pain.

I would definately try to call your guide. If your guide is not available ask to speak with anyone. I thought my guide told me that March just "sold out" but that was the same thing I was told for my use year. Ask to be put on the waitlist that they use when people cancel or something. You have a good chance of hearing something relatively soon.

The one thing I learned with this most recent add on is that timing is everything. Those pts that I received may have been gone the next day had I not called my guide and asked him to check on pts that were put back in inventory for one reason or another.

You're right about SSR. It's nice that you can use MB, only put 10% down and then no payments until next year. When we were talking about SSR this did look more attractive than waiting for full price pts through a waitlist and then end up putting more down.

It's still a possibility that we will add our names back on the waitlist for VWL and VB-it may just be a few months from now when we can pay cash for the add ons. If I had the money I would add on at my favorite resort even though I might be paying full price for those pts.

We our paying off our original contract in a short period of time so I didn't want to take on too much of an extra burden right now.

Just wanted to say congrats on your points. We are new DVC members and Jim is our guide as well. We had to wait list for VWL and he came through for us in about 1 day. You are absolutely right about him - he is great!!

If I add on points at SSR, does it become a separate loan payment and dues payment or are both loans lumped together.

disneygal4, I belive the dues and laon payment for add ons are separate, but they are taken out of your checking on the same days.
