So yesterday I dutifully sat down and made all our reservations for our trip next March, 180 in advance. We had talked it over planned to use 2 credits at Le Cellier and go to Dinner since it is impossible to get in for lunch, and BINGO lunch was available for a bunch of slots. :worship: So my question is why? Did I screw it up somehow, I checked and rechecked I had the correct amount of people on the reservation. I know yesterday the system had issues off and on did I just get lucky? Is lunch now 2 credits also? Do I just need to count my good fortune as this is one of my on weeks and my number hit so to speak?:confused3 If so I'm buying a lotto ticket because I've had other little lucky things all week and this just might be it!!!!:rotfl:

I was able to book 3 lunches yesterday for a January trip. Maybe people just aren't booking too far out.

I just booked Le Cellier for lunch for the end of March, too! I was thrilled! Downside, still can't book Chef Mickey's for anything except 4pm. I want breakfast!

I also made adr at my 180 mark a few weeks ago. Initially, I made an a dinner adr for chefs, since I didn't want to use 2 credits for le cellier dinner. a week or two later I thought maybe we could do lunch at LC instead of chefs, IF it was available. I found a lunch at a good time on that first try. My guess is that the majority of visitors just don't book that far out.

I too was able to book LeCellier for lunch and CRT for breakfast when I made my reservations 180 days out for our late March 2012 trip. Actually, I was able to get everything I wanted...which is a first for me!

I just canceled my 11:30am reservation as a 12:45pm reservation came up for our trip in March.

It's been weird the reservations that I have been able to get this time. I got Le Cellier for lunch, Rose & Crown, and Fantasmic dining package. I also looked for giggles to see what else was available and there was CRT, Ohana, Chef Mickey's, and Coral Reef. This was in August for the week of Dec 14 and after FD was announced.

Because it is overhyped and folks are finally realizing it is not worth the prices Disney is charging? I have given this place several shots thinking "all the hype can't be wrong". Ummm.... I think the hype was wrong and it is off my list

It seems to be pretty wide open in January too unless you're looking for a larger table. I couldn't find anything for lunch or dinner on either of our Epcot days for 7, but splitting up into two tables opened up our choice of times.

No matter how it happened- it's an awesome feeling to get that coveted adr! Yay for you!!! :goodvibes

It was an afterthought for us, but we were able to get lunch there about 72 days out last time we went. Still...so much easier when there are lots of options! Congrats again! :)

At our 180 mark, I got the dinner I wanted, but then decided to switch to a lunch in January, but now I can't get anything else that week, guess I will keep what I have and keep checking, I want lunch, just a little later in the day and we are supposedly going on a slow week.

If actually booking right at the 180 day mark, I've never really seen difficulty getting any reservation. Sure... wait a few days, and you may have trouble getting CRT and Les Cellier. But I've never seen difficulty right on the 180 day mark.

In fact, I find the "you must make all reservations 180s in advance) thing to be a bit exaggerated. Certainly, many popular restaurants and times fill up quickly. But if you typically look 90 days out, you will still find availability at *most* restaurants and most times.

I have seen more lunch opening for them. I think its the lunch menu, some of the same stuff but not all as dinner. And some people might have misheard about the 2 credits, thinking its the 2 credits for lunch also.

I am also going to WDW in March and have noticed there seems to be quite a bit of available ADR's for the more popular restaurants even though it is during Spring Break and FD. I guess people just have not booked their spring vacations yet. Makes me happy, I got a Le Cellier for lunch too! :yay:

Don't eat at LC..It's no good!..You won't like it! Taste really bad! Blah-blah-blah....:scared1:

Just kiddin'...To each his-or her-own,...We absolutely love it. Then again, the McDonald's English Pub burger thang I just had for lunch tasted pretty good to me. ;)

I actually booked Le Cellier yesterday for lunch on October 17th for a party of seven. I had been checking off and on for a couple weeks, and an adr just happened to be available yesterday.

I think sometimes you just get lucky, but if you are booking that far out, you're pretty much making your own luck!

We got a walk in lunch at lc this past spring. Several of the tables were empty when we walked in. I think other than during free dining peole aren't doing as much ts anymore - a Disney trip is expensive enough!

How true! Seriously, there's no prime rib on the lunch menu and the menu is not close to the dinner one, thus making it much easier for an ADR. You can get the mushroom filet though.

Congrats on getting Le Cellier for lunch. When I do our ADRs I always do them at 180 days out and always (knocking on wood as I am typing) get exactly what I want and that always includes Le Cellier for lunch, CRT dinner, Cali Grill for whatever time I would like, and Crystal Palace and Akershus Breakfast both before the park opens (8am each). I find that at 180 days out you can pick and choose your ADRs, but as you get closer they get harder to come by (except for the PPs that already posted their successes). May your luck never run out :goodvibes
