So we are eating lunch at 2:45...at Cindy's but who cares...we are going!!! this is the only day we will be at MK and we do not have hoppers so this was vip that I get this day. That is cool, we will eat a big CS bkfst and a snack and big snack for dinner...no biggie. Not exactly my perfect plan but oh well

Try calling at 6:58, DH tried on our phone and I tried on my cell at the same time and we got through. There's a whole thread with tips on getting into the castle! I called today at 10:00 to get dinner at CRT for Sept. and the guy actually said they had a character breakfast opening!!! We did the breakfast last year and want to try the slipper dessert this year so I declined.

Yesterday I called at 4pm and got CRT lunch for 1:50 on Set 28th. I don't think lunch is as hard as breakfast. But she did tell me it was the last one too.

This time we want a late lunch & I didn't think it was going to be too hard to get so I was going to just let the TA call, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should try too.

CALL YOURSELF!!! It is soooo hard to get I doubt the TA's set their alarms for 5:55 every morning to get it...besides you can cancel if you get 2 but CALL YOURSELF...my TA suggested due to sell out we do call ourselves and they call too...I called at EXACTLY 7 Florida time...I was on hold and at 6:10 an announcement came on saying that if I was still waiting, chances are the CRT had been sold out already!!!!!!!! NO JOKE...but I wanted lunch so I continued to wait and at 7:37 I got my call answered...and he said I was the last spot for lunch at 2:45 which is ok with my family, we don't care about the time really but I HAD TO GO ON THIS DAY...so I accepted happily I don't know what to tell you, I did everything to the letter, maybe have dh call on a cell, you call land line and TA call and someone might get in but do it at EXACTLY 7 or a few seconds earlier...also in the UG they suggest the farther away your call (me in Iowa) would get my call answered later than say Georgia and earlier than say CA if we were to call the same exact time!! It was CRAZINESS and it was like playing slots at Vegas...I hit the jackpot...my dh is getting soemwhat impressed by my desire and knowledege of this system, he might be a convert yet!! GOOD LUCK

actually, you might want to start trying a few MINUTES earlier than 7. I've been able to get CRT every time I tried, and EACH time, the phone was answered BEFORE 7am. (according to the official govt time).

That is amazing...seeing as how I did everything right...however more people could be planning to attend on the 29th than the 28th and that is why it was so hard to do the lunch. I might call back closer to the date and see if I can get an earlier lunch but I would still get up early and call, it was not that easy for me to get... 2:45 is kinda late...but doable for us, our kids are a bit older...

I never even thought to use two lines at a time, I thought doing the lunch would be easier and I would have more time choices...apparently NOT

the first time we tried (in 2003), I tried on the regular phone at the same time that my dh and my sister both tried on cell phones, LOL!!!!
It might have been a little overboard, but hey, it worked!

Thanks MOMOFMNM, that's not the info I wanted to hear , but at least it convinced me that I should call too. My TA did tell me that she does call right away, but I know that she has other clients too.

When I called in Dec. I was shocked to get through immediately.

DD doesn't know about this trip, so now I have to figure out how to call without her hearing me.

I got NO choice of time and lunch was the only option which I wanted anyway AND I got the LAST SLOT!!!! My luck kinda sucks I guess and I was up at 5:00 am!!! Central time!!!
I am happy with what I got I just wonder why I was on hold for so freakin long when I should've been a very early call...37 mins on hold...

I switched my days and realized at 4pm that I had not called for CRT for lunch!! When I called I expected not to get a spot but they had an opening at 2:05, so I grabed it! I thought my husband will kill me for booking lunch so late but nobody cared.

My travel agent got me an Illuminations Cruise and CRT for breakfast twice - one we are cancelling though because we really wanted it a certain day but since we were trying to get two very hard bookings we tried for the first day to get CRT - then the next two to get the Illuminations Cruise - then CRT on the day we really wanted. So there are some travel agents that work very hard to get the requested PS's etc....regardless of what time they have to get up. But I would still try myself. I did when we were trying to get the Illuminations cruise - but she got it and I didn't...even though I was off the phone by 7:10am. Good luck to everyone....and cancellations do happen. If you were looking for one on Sunday 9/25 I just cancelled one earlier today for 11 people.

I emailed my TA & she's been very successful getting the princess meals for her clients, so I've decided it's not worth having DD hear me call. If the TA doesn't get it, I'll just rearrange things.
