Just wanted to post that my daughter and I are about to leave for our WDW vacation and I got all of the ADRs we wanted and the time frames we wanted. I didn't exchange with any one, or use another website to help, etc. What I did was check on the Disney website a lot. I mean that literally ..... A LOT. Quite often after midnight or other times during the day an opening would suddenly appear for a restaurant that had nothing available previously. Sometimes it was for the time I wanted, and sometimes I just took the opening and then a more preferable time become available later.

And these are hard to get adrs.... BOG breakfast, 1900 Park Fare breakfast, California Grill dinner, etc. I admit I was a little obsessive about checking, and I realize not everyone has a lot of time to spend online looking. But trust me it is so worth it if you can. :cloud9:

Congrats! I have been pretty diligent about checking as well and have gotten some tough ones through the website! Have a great trip!

Congrats! Enjoy your trip! It feels good when you line up what is wanted.

My friend and I are heading to Disney in December and we managed to get everything we wanted too (including Ohana, B,L,D at BOG, Askerhus dinner). Most were made at the 180 point but we did have the whole waiting for BOG breakfast to officially open in December to deal with. During the time since then we've played and tweaked with no problems and have seen various high demand locations open. It just takes luck and careful planning.

All our reservations were made without using any of the ADR services. Just checking MDE frequently and stalking the DIS.

Congrats on getting everything you wanted! I agree about constantly checking as availability changes all the time and you never know if/when something will become available ;).

Glad to hear it, CJ! This is often times how our family rolls too because we don't plan our mini-trips too far in advance.

Have a wonderful time! :flower1:

Great job, have so much fun on you trip!! I did the same thing, obsessively checking myself A LOT! After midnight is when I got most of mine too, but also throughout the day. I guess having a teething toddler helped because I am usually not up that late!:) Although it has been hard getting up to take the other 2 to the bus stop! I have nothing against people who use the ADR search sites but for me, because I've had the time,it would drive me crazy to pay for something I could do myself!

Awesome! :) I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip.

This December trip came about suddenly less than 2 weeks ago, and I can't find either of the 2 ressies I want: 1900 Park Fare (dinner) and the coveted BOG (lunch is the one I want, and I can't even find that!). LOL

I've been looking (and looking, and looking!) but so far nothing. I'm crossing my fingers that at least one of them will open in time for our trip. It won't be the end of the world if they don't, but it sure would sweeten it a bit. ;) This is our first trip that is w/o the Dining plan, so we'd like a few nice TS to break the monotony of all the QS we'll be eating.

Good for you and congratulations! I am looking (and hoping) to get BOG for dinner.

I hope you have a fantastic trip!

GOOD FOR YOU. You see, you PLANNED well :). We also don't have any issues getting ADRs at our 180 - but then again, we don't eat in the parks.
And Sandy and I will DIE before we steal an ADR away from WDW with a third party web scrapper :). We just can't see those people being good for the company.

I got everything I wanted at the times I wanted (except for F! Dinner package) the morning of my 180 day mark and was done in 25 mins.

Dinner at Whispering Canyon.
Prepark opening breakfast at Crystal Palace.
Breakfast at Tusker House.
Hoop De Doo Revue.
Brunch at Chef Mickey.
Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine.
Dinner at Mama Melrose.

Super excited, maybe I'm truly going at a slow time but it was much simpler than I anticipated.
