I got Emailed a discount code!

I got an email from WDW for a discount code for the resorts. Normally I would by totally pschyed. I got one of the famed postcards in 1997, and tossed it (Oops!) Anyway, we just got back and now I get this and it expires in December! Booger. We were going back in Feb. How often do these emails get sent? The postcards, well, I only got one in 10 years...But what about the emails? Should I just go?

It is $64/ night for a Value Resort during Christmastime...Is that good?

I got the best rate (AP) price of $59.00 for value in Dec. (the rates in the email are the same as FL resident rates).

I think I got the same one. Moderates for $84. I'm not going until May so hopefully they'l be more.

The discounts are not usually that good in May because it's not value season. At least they haven't been in the last couple of years.

We had a postcard rate last May for $79. It never hurts to hope!!

They must really like me because this is the 3rd email pin code I have gotten in one year. We aren't going back before this expires. I wish I could forward it on to someone.

Does anybody know -- Is the e-mail a "rooms only" one or will it work for packages? Got the PIN but I have a package via AAA and would rather not bug my TA if it wouldn't be worth her/my time to try.

I received one also. $64 for values and $84 for moderates. Great deal for those of us without an AP. Valid 11/27 to 12/25. I want to go! WAHHHHH!!!!

We are leaving a week from tomorrow and have been booked since JANUARY. We missed free dining by 10 days.

Last night I got an e-mail survey from WDW. I completed it. Today lo and behold we get our very first e-mail with PIN code! Values $64 per night from 11/27 through 12/25.

DH and I don't have any vacation time left because we are using it all for the October trip! Besides, airfare is WAAAY high right now.

So we finally get the coveted e-mail and can't use the darn thing! Maybe they just sent it to me because they KNOW I am getting ready to leave and wanted me to feel special.

That email address sends you the email postcard, I hope I haven't deleted it. We are going in 3 weeks and booked POP for $89 a night and would love to get a better rate!!

Well, I've been subscribed to all the usual Disney things as suggested by Mousesavers for years now. Never recieved a pin code or a postcard, nothing.

In all our previous trips we stayed off site. I just booked our upcoming trip last month, over the phone through CRO. I was asked for my email address during the booking process. I was asked if I wanted my confirmation sent to my email address or to my home address. I TOLD THEM TO SEND IT TO BOTH if that matters any. Not sure it did matter b/c I didn't recieve my confirmation either way, but it is showing up on DIsney Online.

Well.....lo and behold I got my first PIN code emailed to me!!!!
It might not hurt to call CRO and make sure they have your email address in their system.
