I got a weird hat

Hi! I think I made a trade for a weird hat. The owner said it was beta, but whatever, I don't really care if it is beta or not, but I thought my little one would like it. I think it is a muskateer hat. I really haven't seen them on much, can anyone give me any info on this hat? I think i made a pretty good trade, but i'm not sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ah, the Musketeer hat.
It was sold in November 2005 (Hat Month! ), so it should be pretty rare...
But then again, I'm not the best trader, so I don't know it's true rarity..
I know for sure it isn't beta, though.
Even if it isn't rare, as long as you are happy about what you traded for and got, it's a fair trade.

I call that hat the UGLY hat lol- probably why you don't see it often is it isn't the best hats out there lol- doesn't go with much and really just looks bad with the extra hair and all...

Because of their ugliness- and the time of release I don't believe there are as many extras floating around as other hats- but I do believe they were only 500 credits- I'm too lazy to check the sticky guide at the top of the board but it will be there...

Like was mentioned- if you like what you got- you made a good trade = especially if you want to get all the hats...

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder Me, I happen to like that hat just turn your hair black and it looks great in my opinion....It reminds me of the hat that Will Turner wears at the end of the first Pirates Movie.

That hat is much rarer than Bird I beleive not as rare as pan.

But Aengus would be a better judge of that.

Personally, I love the hat!
It's true that for it to look it's best, you should change your hair to black. But it looks great!

It was sold in November of 05 and hasn't been available since. But then, there are those that don't like it and those that do and those that like the hat are few.
I think I see more people wearing the pan hat than the musketeer hat. As both hats were only sold in November 05, I think their rarity is basically about the same.

I havent seen much of these hats worn on people's heads but I heard it IS rare.

OT: I traded an extra ATIS Molecules for Pan Hat. Is this a good trade? And is Pan Hat worth a Bird hat?

Thank you for not making me feel bad! lol! I actually think it does look cute with your hair black....you are sweet! My daughter was so excited when I told her after she came home from school today! I traded 2 holiday quest items, (the blue soldier & blue wreath) and a magenta rocket couch and an animator desk and chair. I actually have extras of all so i don't think I gave too much up! She is on a quest for a princess minnie or stitch, I don't want to hurt her feelings and tell her there really is no chance, but she keeps trying and having fun!

My daughter is actuallytrying to get one of as much as she can! So she was excited I got the hat! Now we are off to look for Princess Minnie, Stitch and Inferno! Yea Right! lol It never hurts to try!

Thank you for all the info! I'm glad it's at least pretty rare. I really don't ever see it, and as soon as I put it on and went to collect credits everyone was asking me about it...that was cool! TY!

I was gifted a muskateer hat. I think the other person just wanted to get rid of it because it's not really in demand. if it didn't have the attached hair piece, it would be an awesome hat!

I think all dis people with the musketeer hat should wear it tonight and see what type of comments we engender!

LOL it is the attached hairpiece that ruins it for me- I so seldomly change hair colors or styles for that matter- and with my Brown pigtails it really looks silly but so do a few of the other hats lol

I think the hat would be in much more demand if girls could have short hair. Short enough that it would be hidden beneath the hat. Even take it as short so it's almost blad, so girls can wear the peter pan hat

It is a pretty rare hat, its demand isnt all that because I think you will find a majority will say its ugly LOL. However, in a trade room it can fetch a nice price for people who do want it.

I would have to agree there cant be as many as the other hats for the simple fact that so many found it ugly they just didnt buy it, and back then everyone was broke from halloween costumes and then the hat month, they just let it pass.

its a sleeper trade should you decide to trade it, put it on your head and wander the trade rooms, and take your time. If you take your time it will fetch a good price to people who understand its rarity.
