I Got a Pin!

Not sure if I should even try to use it though.

Background:
booked ASMo in 2/08 for 8/23-8/31 w/AAA using AAA room discount but hoping for FD (must have preferred location).
FD becomes available beginning 8/24. After much ado, the AAA TA has to book two ressies (room only and flights for 8/23) and free dining for 8/24-31 (now without AAA discount).
BTW, trip has been paid IN FULL since 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday I get a Pin code postcard in the mail for SSR or OKW for our dates at a rate of $165 a night. I'm sure this isn't for a preferred, but seems like a great rate. Never been to either. Is it worth the hassle of trying to change all ressies? Will I still be able to get FD? (I don't think so but thought I'd ask).

Not familiar with SSR or OKW, but if you decide to use the pin code, you will not be able to keep free dining as Disney does not allow you to stack codes . You would have to decide which is the better deal between the code and free dining .

I didn't think it was possible, and sounds like it might be more fuss than I'm willing to deal with. Now, had it been a 40% off for Poly or GF, I'd seriously have to think about it!

Did you call to see if there were rates for other resorts with this code? Who knows, it could be the GF or Poly.
