I got a pin code for May, a free 500.00 gift card but you have to book through Disney and I booked a WestJet package. Has anyone had anyluck applying a pin this way. I checked and money wise I was better off booking my package insted of booking through Disney but I would still love to get a $500 gift card at check in.

I would definately look up a Disney Customer Service number or just call the resort you are staying at and explain the situation. Ask for a manager if need be. Worse case scenario, they say no....so really you have nothing to loose.

If you booked with a TA they have to check into this. Disney won't even be able to talk to you because you don't have a reservation number that is in their system. When a ressie is made via TA the numbers are different.

Secondly, there will be conditions attached to getting that GC. Usually, it's paying full price for the room portion of a package.

In any case call them because the worst that can happen is they say 'no'. Sometimes multiply calls are neccessary to find someone that has any knowledge.

If you are able to get an additional discount, i'd certainly be interested in knowing how you did it.

We also have booked through Westjet for the full package (flights, accomodations and tickets) but haven't received any PIN codes to date

Just curious, how did you get your PIN. Postcard, email, by phone??

I would say you're out of luck...the codes are limited to those booking through Disney...from what I've seen at least...it's like a "thank you" for using their guest services I guess...I still think it's the best way to go overall...it might cost a bit more but there are no surprises!!
