I was using it at sunrise this morning...:yay:

Looks like your still using your D50, but I don't recall you using a 70-200 f/2.8 lens before. I'll guess that it's the Nikkor 70-200 AF VR f/2.8D G-AFS ED-IF lens.

Darned if I know exactly what it is, but I WANT ONE TOO!!!!!! great shots!!

And don't call it a toy. What if someone's spouse sees that? It's a tool, man. A serious tool for doing serious work.

Ha- Correct you all are- I just got my 70-200/2.8vr.

I have been doing some serious horse trading the last week or so-

Gone is the D70, 10-20, 18-70, & the 18-200vr.

Here is the 70-200/2.8vr & the 28-70/2.8.

(And still on the wish list is the D200 ;) )

Right! After lugging it around for a while I think it could also be called a weapon. Very heavy. :rotfl:

You'll need to hire a caddy for your next WDW outing. My application will be in the mail tomorrow.

:) I am phycotic... I mean phycic.... Nice picks and you'll love the lens I would never part with mine

Nice!
I was tossing around getting Canon's version and couldn't really come up with a reason why I needed it. Now I have a reason... GDad has one! ;) How can I show my (virtual) face around here if I can't keep up?

I highly recommend the LENS CRADLE..

I just got one for my 80-200 2.8 lens

it made carrying it a whole lot easier...

when on camera, it supports the camera and lens in a well balanced position, when removing the lens from the camera, just pop on the rear lens cap and let it hang around your neck, close at hand for quick remounting.

nice shots and what dedication to get up before sunrise to take them;)

Love the light on that one!! Isn't that a great lens???? Wouldn't part with mine now that I've shot with it for awhile. The bokeh is just wonderful with it!!
