Well.....I will still be doing the same work but I finally was able to get something in the same County where we live. DD starts Prek this year and the two different school systems are on different schedules for Fall Break and Spring Break.
I interviewed back in May for a job as a Paraprofessional and thought I had it in the bag but someone else got that job. I had also put my application in for the child nutrition dept since that is what I do now. Did not hear anything for a while. I had resigned myself to getting mentally prepared to face working with my horrible co-workers for another year. Then I got a call to see if I was still interested. I told them yes but that I needed to be full time instead of starting out as a substitute. I got a letter telling me what day the interviews were and I must have changed my mind at least 30,000 times on whether I should even go to the interview. Thay were supposed to hire for sub work only. I finally decided that there are exceptions to every rule and went to the interview. They LOVED me and I found out yseterday that I had the job as a full time worker.
It will be a bit different for me since I have worked in the Elem school and this will be a middle school. BUT......it is a BRAND NEW school. Everything will be shiny and new!!! Also they do not serve breakfast to Middle school so that means I will go in a little later which will help me with getting my dd to school. Everything is falling into place!!!!!!!!
HOPEFULLY......I will be making more money also which would be an added bonus.
