I got a job!

I have been geographically unemployed for 20 months now and have been unable to work due to lack of jobs at our small military base. Well, one of the 5 jobs available on post came open, I applied, interviewed and just received the call that they were offering me the job. I will be working out of my career field, but I am excited that as of the first week of November I will be working once again. Just had to share my excitement. I guess this will put a stop to my european travels, but it will be worth it, especially since it gets me into a GS position, which will be helpful when DH retires in 16 months.
