I called yesterday afternoon. ( POR direct.) My reservation was downloaded into the system on Friday.
I put in my request. I asked was there any chance of getting 2 particular rooms.
The CM came back and said..."those are water niew rooms" and there will be an extra charge. The rooms we requested are 2757 in AB and 9239 in Mansions.
She said the rooms will be available and that I could pay the $200 difference at check in. ( Our ressie is paid in full.)
She then said...." you know what , can you hold a minute...SURE."
She came back and said...."I see you guys have stayed here MANY times and your reservation is paid in full."
There will be NO CHARGE for the water view upgrade.
I have heard people say they fax their request. But CRO told me to call POR directly because the resort is the one who assigns the rooms.
For those interested....call 5 days before you arrive. Thats when you reservations gets downloaded. At that point , its out of CRO's hands and in the hands of the resort.
