I got a DISNEY TRIP for Christmas!!!!!

Oh boy , oh boy!!!! I got the bestest Christmas gift ever!!!! We canceled a trip in November due to some ankle problems I am having. It was a very hard thing to cancel that trip....I can't even begin to tell you...but this morning Greg tells me after my surgery..which is December 30th and I can walk comfortably....we ARE going on a long weekend to my happiest place...IN THE WORLD!!!!! I get to pick the resort and everything. Right now we don't have a definate date, but we are hoping for late February or early March....provided recovery from my surgery goes well and I will be able to tolerate all of the walking!! I am so excited I could just jump up and down!!! Thanks for sharing in my excitement. Wooo Hooo!!! Now to figure out where to stay....I know this sounds funny, but I am thinking Poly or Pop Century....what a world of difference there!!!

What a great gift! Since you are only going for a weekend and since you don't want to push yourself too hard after surgery I would pick something nearest the park you want to visit most. If it is Magic Kingdom than go to the Poly or maybe if it is Epcot than go for Beach Club. Or just have fun and do Pop Century.

Whatever you pick - enjoy your trip.

I can feel your joy through the computer. That is a great Christmas present. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. I also agree with WDWLVR on picking a resort that is closest to the park you'll be going to the most. If you stay at the Poly, you could just get on the monorail for MK or Epcot at the TTC. You have something wonderful to look forward to after your surgery.

I keep getting little presents that are totally Disney throughout the day...so I am assuming this isn't quite over yet. There are Disney Dollars tucked in every little Mickey gift that I keep getting and opening throughout the day. What fun this is!!! And what fun to share it all with all of you!! I hope you will join us!!!! Can't wait to meet you!!!!
