I got the same one! BUT, we were told that it doesn't apply to any of the resorts on the monorail?? I didn't realize that and we are booked at GF. Bummer!!

We got it too, but it did not say specific hotels only. It says Any of the resorts in the following categories, which I think most of the Monorail ones fall under Deluxe? Also, it had some wicked black out dates

I told the CM's I would pay full price for 10/23, but they both said that since 10/23 is a blackout date we couldn't use it.

I did get one for 20% off when I first booked a couple of months ago, so at least I could use that one.

Still hoping for free dining pin though!!!

That's what I thought too, but either I'm super confused or our travel agent is. When we emailed her about applying the PIN her first reply was "The pin code offer below is not available at any of the monorail resorts." So we emailed back to clarify if there were just not any rooms currently available at any of the deluxe resorts. Her next reply was, "The pin code offer is not available for your travel date with this offer." But we ARE staying within the dates listed, so color me confused, I guess.

Reading the wording of the offer closely it says its good "at any of the following resort categories" so it applies to all categories but not to all resorts WITHIN those categories. Maybe thats how they excluded monorail resorts??

Great that people are getting the PINs! I already used a 40 percent off deluxe so at least I don't have to sweat about getting this one.

change your check in date to the 10/24 and then make a room only ressie for the 23rd and use your pin for the rest of it, well worth the effort!. If you are on a pkg, you can pick your tickets up the day early at GS at DTD, the only thing you would lose would be a day of dining if you had purchased it, well worth the 40% off your room rate

For a couple, 40% off at a deluxe is a much better deal. If your kids still count as children (3-9), it is still better to go with the 40%, although the savings aren't as big.

I also got this monster savings pin code and booked in December. We asked for and got a savannah view at AKL. We briefly considered requesting Concierge AKL but there was no availability under the pin. It was smart marketing for Disney because we jumped on this as a spur of the moment decision.

Just for grins, call in and see if you can get what you want on your own. As long as you are not checking in on a block date, AND if the room you want to book is available, then I would think it would work.
However it may be an availability issue.
But call Disney direct and find out. Seems like SOMETHING at a monorail resort should be available. Unless you are arriving during one of the block out days.
It's not so much about staying within a set of dates as it may be you arriving on a block out date listed.
