I got 2 Private Messages

EVERY time I come to this site -- on top of the boards is a huge message that I got 2 private message (I have yet to click on it) and am wondering why is it that large and why would it not be in the corner where its supposed to be.

Unless it is in the Disboards' own PM section (upper right, in a small yellow box with your username, visit date, etc) then it's probably just a sponsored advert picked up by GoogleAds, or AdChoices, or whatever the DIS uses these days. It's the same sort of crap as those 'shaking' adverts which say you are the millionth visitor to a site, etc. They are little more than a scam.

To be certain, go to your real PM inbox via the proper link in your DIS User Control Panel and see if there's anything there.
