I only booked two weeks ago so it's not like I've been looking forward to this for that long, although I had been playing with the idea of going for about six months.

Far too excited! I have checked in for my flight and car hire online and now the countdown REALLY begins.

So solo female travellers, especially those doing long haul, it can be done!

I guess I'll see you on the other side. Or properly all through as I may update as I go, we shall see.

I am very jealous, enjoy and yes it can be done alone and I did two weeks alone myself last year. I didnt drive though as I dont have a car so thats a plus for you xx

I have arrived! Got here a couple of hours ago, managed not to crash the car so that's a success as far as I'm concerned.

Driving here is a treat, I don't have a car at home so I really enjoy it when I get the chance as I do enjoy driving.

I am now playing a game of chicken with my body clock trying to make me go to sleep and my mind trying to stay awake to adjust quicker.

I'd be up for a meet, no firm plans for tomorrow, DHS Friday for sure but the rest of my weekend is open.
